The degree to which Spanish-language translations of ACP resources are broadly accepted by Spanish-speaking Americans from different countries is yet to be definitively determined. This qualitative ethnographic research scrutinized the difficulties and promoters of advance care planning (ACP), with a particular focus on the translation of ACP resources into Spanish. Focus groups were conducted with a diverse group of 29 Spanish-speaking individuals, encompassing patients, family members, and medical interpreters who had experience with ACP.
